Practitioner Researchers

This event is aimed at academics and people who are producing data of academic interest.

If you do not view yourself as an academic (the lines are a bit blurry) but have data/findings that you think will be of interest to academics, then perhaps you are a practitioner-researcher. If so, there are opportunities for you to be involved with the symposium.

There will be opportunities for practitioner-researchers to meet with each other, and with academics, to consider how they may collaborate.

If you are early on in your research journey then sharing your findings through a poster is often a good first step.  There will be an allocated hour for you to stand with your poster and discuss your research with others in an informal context.

If you wish, you can tick the box on the form saying that you are a Forest School practitioner doing research.
