The first two qualified Forest School practitioners to have had their qualifications verified by the FSA have been added to the publicly searchable database of qualified Forest School practitioners, found on the home page of the FSA website.

From here their qualified Forest School practitioner status can be noted by the public, customers, employers, colleagues, friends, family … anyone.

Their individual profile include a copy of their personal ‘verified Forest School practitioner badge’.

We hope that the verification scheme will help qualified Forest School practitioners to not only publicise themselves but also the Forest School Association and the fact that Forest School practitioners should be qualified professionals (in line with the 5th principle of Forest School practice).

As a little incentive, and for a bit of fun, all members who have submitted their details by midnight 17th August, to go up on the members map, will be entered into a prize draw for 1 years free membership worth £40.

Also, all members who have completed the verified qualified Forest School practitioner scheme by mid-day Friday 26th September (countersigned copy of your certificate received by the FSA office and all criteria met) will be entered into a prize to win a copy of the exquisite ‘New Sylva‘.
