We are pleased to see the geographical spread of FSA Recognised Forest School Providers; today we can announce that Lime Tree Primary Academy is our first in the Greater Manchester area.

Lime Tree Primary Academy, is an Ofsted outstanding, Nationally designated Teaching School in the Borough of Trafford, Their facilities benefit from extensive grounds incorporating a working farm and several dedicated Forest School areas.

Janet Green, one of three Level 3 practitioners at the school, says: “We are very pleased to have gained Recognised Forest School Provider Status for our Reception and Year 1 Forest School sessions here at Lime Tree. We value the ethos of Forest School and all that it brings to our children. The recognition is important for us as it validates the hard work we put into ensuring that our children get the best quality provision in the woods. We also share this work with other primary schools in the Trafford area and beyond, so believe it is important to have our sessions recognised by the FSA. Having provider status, provides confidence for our parents and families, as they know we are providing an authentic forest school experience within mainstream education.”
