The FSA Recognised Forest School Provider membership type has been re-opened following consultation with FSA Members. Directors are clear that this membership type is principally for those providers who are providing Forest School in accordance with the 6 principles of Forest School. However, following consultation, this membership type has been extended to include providers of shorter programmes that are otherwise in line with Forest School and who aspire to deliver long term programmes in the future. These will be known as FSA Recognised Introductory Forest School Providers and will appear on the map/database as such. Full details may be found on the website (Join Us menu button). Please note, if you are interested in applying, we have a backlog of over 50 applications to clear. New applications will be assessed in the order that they come in.
