FSA Kent & Medway Members Meeting

One of a series of FSA Kent & Medway members gatherings in 2014 to visit a Forest School site, meet other members and practitioners and share good practice. Come ready to share ideas and experiences and to sit around the fire with fellow forest school members. Tea, coffee and cakes provided! From 1 to 4 pm. An important area for discussion will be the formal affiliation of the group to the FSA – looking for committee members! If you are keen to help the development of the group as a committee member – please let us know! Also to discuss exciting ideas of working collaboratively at events in 2015 to promote Forest School across Kent & Medway.
Hosted by Caroline Watts (Forest School Leader and leader of ‘Forest Kindergarten’ woodland nursery) and supported by Ruth Wong (Forest School Leader at Forest Kindergarten). Caroline has run Forest School programmes for primary schools for the past 5 years and has recently opened the Forest Kindergarten; a fully outdoor nursery for children aged 3 to 5. We have an acre of National Trust woodland at our site, and from here we also use nearby fields and larger woods for our adventures. We look forward to hosting you all.
This is the second meeting of the year, and will be based at the Forest Kindergarten site, in woodland in Ide Hill.
