The FSA extend a warm welcome to our first Recognised Forest School Provider in Essex: Nature of Learning.
Nature of Learning is based outside Saffron Walden in Essex and their Forest School sessions focus on providing a space for child-led play and nature connection in beautiful woodland. Their activities include mud kitchen fun, stream play, tree climbing, tool use, cooking on and lighting fires, crafts, nature detectives, scavenger hunting, plus so many more usually invented by the children!
Level 3 practitioners Sarah and Heather said: “This achievement means such a lot to us as we strongly and passionately believe in what the Forest School Association ethos and principles stand for, with children seen as valued and equal members of a community, firmly rooted in nature, in which we are all learning together. We work hard to ensure the quality and integrity of the sessions we offer and we look forward to bringing more top quality, FSA recognised Forest School to local children and families as well as sharing our practice with other Forest School providers”
