- Why you are standing for FSA directorship?
I am passionate about the Forest School approach and can see how the the work of the FSA is contributing to maintaining and raising standards. Having been involved in this work since 2014 and a member of the FSA since its inception I am keen to be involved in this work in the future.
- Your Forest School experience (and this is not necessarily a pre requisite but you will need to have some basic working knowledge of Forest School)
I have been involved in the Forest School approach since 2004 and qualified as a trainer in 2009. I recently became a registered forest school trainer with the Forest School Association. I regularly work with groups of children and families in the woods.
- How you personally can benefit the FSA.
I have a good strategic understanding of Forest School and the role of the Forest School Association. Having recently been involved in the updating of Forest School qualifications I have good knowledge of how the principles and criteria will shape Forest School in the future.
