Hi again, in answer to the age requirements – due to working with adolescents and some young adults I need to have an assistant with some maturity – not a school leaver.
I hope no one takes issue with my comments about resilience…. and I was slightly joking about the sense of humour, but hey, we got to be able laugh!!
Hope that helps more,
Piers
Hi, thanks for your queries and I am not sure if I am allowed to specify that I am looking for a female assistant. My reasoning is that I am male and I feel I need a female to assist me as I work with girls and boys. I would not feel comfortable to have an all male team. I hope that helps.
Piers
I saw a job advert recently looking for “bubbly” – don’t think that’s allowed either! It wasn’t here by the way!
Are they allowed to specify “female”?
Well spotted – we are looking into it now to see if there is a reason. Thanks, Gareth
Stipulating an age could be an issue!
Unless perhaps it is due to insurance for vehicles or something
