Job Description: Be Free Forest School is looking for a fun, reliable person to assist with Forest School sessions on weekly sessions on Tuesdays in Southgate, N London for a minimum of 8-12 weeks.

Must:
Love working with young people
Enjoy being outdoors in all weathers!
Be willing to complete, or already hold a DBS.

If you’re looking for a challenge, wishing to gain experience in Forest School or education and want to know more, give us a call or drop us an email. The sessions are delivered by Jude, an experienced primary school teacher and qualified Forest School leader. You’ll be given hands on experience, guidance and instruction on how to introduce skills, crafts and games to children. When the children are playing you’ll help them stay safe and play with, or alongside them to promote play. In time you’ll be given opportunities to deliver parts of a session and lead small groups. Particularly interested in hearing from trainee Forest School leaders or Level 1/2 Forest School Assistants who want to develop their practice.

This is a voluntary position, which may lead to paid work for the right person. It’s also an excellent opportunity to network with other Forest School leaders.

Any Other Information: This position is subject to a full DBS check.
