Calling Nature Connection Workshop Facilitators!

The weekend is designed to be Holistic in its approach, and will offer a range of activities and workshops. We are looking for three types of workshops which include –
Gathering Jays – practical hands on sessions – to gather ideas and crafts to take back to your forest school. We are looking for workshop facilitators who can facilitate ‘doing and making’ workshops. Activities, crafts, games and ideas people can take away. These workshops are open to all the family. We ask for a minimum of 4hrs a day per provider and we are looking for, but not restricted to, Norfolk and Suffolk Jays.

Wise Owls – ecologically focused workshops, walks and talks -a place to delve deeply, for those whose appreciation for the natural world has developed into a thirst to know all the details of the what’s, how’s and whys.  Fungi , foraging, tracking, insects, bird call We are looking for the brilliant folk who have specialist areas of knowledge and can facilitate workshops to address our need for information and understanding, cognitively learning about ecology in creative ways, this can include this can include a range of walks, talks and activities
We would like your workshop to last two hours and so we can enable practitioners to attend, to be repeated two or three times over the weekend.
Intent Woodpeckers – workshops for practitioners who want to drill down to the core of Forest School philosophy, exploring new opportunities and deepening practiceThese sessions will be linked to forest School ethos and principles. We are looking for practitioners to run workshops that can support us on our emotional connection to nature and each other through activities that support community and solitude, with nature holding the space.
We would like your workshop to last two hours and so we can enable practitioners to attend, to be repeated two or three times over the weekend.


If you would like to apply to run a workshop at this years FSA conference,  ‘Belong in this Place Festival ‘

  • Please email a brief description of your workshop and which of the ‘Birds’ you think the workshop would fit to mell@greenlighttrust.org
  • We will then send the appropriate workshop application form to you.
  • PLEASE fill this in and send back to us as soon as possible.
  •  All applications will be taken to the working group for approval, we will then contact you with further details.
